Abraham K. Graber, 91, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Montgomery, Indiana.
He was born on November 7, 1934, in Daviess County, Indiana to William and Leah (Knepp) Graber.
Abe married Delilah Wagler on March 27, 1958. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with family. Abe loved taking rides in golf carts, going to auctions, gardens, and delivering tomatoes and peanuts. He was a hard worker, continuing to work until he was 78, with his last years at Knepp Builders.
Abe is preceded in death by his wife, Delilah Graber, his parents, William and Leah Graber, siblings, Edith Wittmer, Mildred Graber, Paul Graber, Pauline Wagler, Francis Graber, Maggie Graber, Lillian Knepp, Fred Graber, John Graber, Louis Graber, and granddaughter, Brittany Swartzentruber.
He is survived by his children, Karen (Gary) Mumma of Winchester, TN, Miriam (Ray) Schlabach of Sarasota, FL, Joyce (David) Miller of Sarasota, FL, Rachel (Eli) Swartzentruber of Montgomery, Indiana, and Mark (Laura) Graber, of Washington, Indiana, Lisa (Verlin) Wagler of Cannelburg, Indiana, his sister, Susanna (Amos) Wagler of Loogootee, Indiana, his sister – in- laws, Rosa Graber of Odon, Indiana, Miriam Graber of Montgomery, Indiana, Alta Graber of Montgomery, Indiana, and Delilah Lengacher of Loogootee, Indiana, 16 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at 9:00 A.M at Parson Event Center. Visitation will begin on Sunday December 21, 2025 at 1:00 P.M and continue through Monday December 22, 2025 all at the Parson Event Center.
Burial will follow in First Mennonite Cemetery.
