Indiana has been awarded nearly $207 million in federal funding to launch a new rural health initiative called GROW: Cultivating Rural Health. Governor Mike Braun announced the first-year funding is part of a five-year Rural Health Transformation Program aimed at improving healthcare access, quality, and outcomes in rural communities. State leaders say the program will invest in workforce development, new care models, technology, and local grants to strengthen rural healthcare systems and expand services across Indiana.
