Emergency crews responded Monday evening to a serious two-vehicle crash on State Road 65 north of Princeton that left one person critically injured and at least two others hurt. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 call around 5:13 p.m. reporting a head-on collision about a half-mile south of County Road 400 North in the Patoka area. Authorities say a southbound 2002 Lexus RX crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Firefighters from Patoka Township and Union Fire extricated injured occupants, and Gibson County Ambulance Service transported victims to area hospitals. The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, along with its DART drone team and Princeton Police, is investigating the crash, which remains an active and ongoing case.
