Kole B. Trask, a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 3, 2026, in his hometown of Washington, IN, at the age of 30. Born on November 14, 1995, to parents Anthony Trask and Sarah “Nagy” Fisher, Kole’s infectious spirit and love for life touched many in the community where he was born and raised.
Kole’s legacy is carried forward through his daughter, Evelyn Rose, who was the center of his world and his greatest joy. He was a pillar of strength and love for his family, including his father, Anthony Trask, his mother, Sarah Fisher (Scott), and his adored brothers, Camden Trask, Reyce Trask, Brycen Trask, Draxtyn Trask, and Korydon Fisher. His beloved grandparents, Mamaw and Papaw Steiner, will fondly remember Kole’s visits and the countless memories they shared; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Nagy also holds his memory close to her heart. His extended family and a multitude of friends will miss his camaraderie, his kind heart, and his unwavering friendship.
A proud graduate of Washington High School, Kole put his education to work. He joined the team at Total Trim Landscaping, where he honed his skills and cultivated a love for the outdoors. He took pride in a job well done and found fulfillment in shaping the natural beauty of his surroundings.
Outside of work, Kole was a man of many passions. He spent his leisure time perfecting his golf swing, a sport he relished for both the challenge and the friendship. Kole also had a knack for repairing and working on various projects, often finding peace and satisfaction in the outcomes of his efforts. Above all, Kole was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. Whether it was a lively cookout, quietly enjoying nature, or sharing stories and laughter, these simple moments were the ones Kole treasured most.
Kole’s departure has left a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. His unwavering optimism, resilient spirit, and heartfelt laughter will be remembered and celebrated by all whose lives he touched. Kole B. Trask’s life was a life lived with purpose and passion, and his spirit will forever remain a guiding light to those he loved.
There will be a visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the New Hope Christian Church. A service will follow at 1:00 P.M, officiated by Pastor Matt Kerner.
