
Emergency crews responded early Friday morning to a serious single-vehicle crash on State Road 257 in Washington. The crash was reported just after 12:13 a.m. near Cottonwood Court, where a vehicle struck a utility pole, bringing down power lines. Authorities say two people were injured, and at least one female was found lying in the roadway and was initially unresponsive. Washington Fire Department, Washington Police, and Daviess County EMS responded to the scene. One patient was transported to Daviess Community Hospital. Indiana State Police were called in to assist with the investigation. The crash remains under investigation.
