Herbert Raber, 80, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away on Monday January 11, 2026, in Montgomery, Indiana.
He was born on January 9, 1946, to Henry and Lydia (Lengacher) Raber.
Herbert was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lydia (Lengacher) Raber, his wife, Barbara Graber, his siblings, Corene (David) Graber, both deceased; David Raber, Joseph Raber, Anna Mae Stoll, and sister- in- law, Rosie (Wagler) Raber, and brother-in-law, Lewis Jr. Graber.
Herbert is survived by his siblings: John Raber, Sarah (Ezra) Lengacher, Marie (Lester) Yoder, Henry Jr. (Ida Mae) Raber, Victor (Dorothy) Raber, Wilma Graber, Fred (Mary Catherine) Raber, Loren (Sharon) Raber, sister- in-law, Sylivia (Lester) Marner, Rosemary (Wagler) Raber, brother-in- law, Dale (Laura) Stoll, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2026, at 9:00 A.M at the Daviess County Community Building.
Visitation will begin on Monday January 12, 2026, at 2:00 P.M at the Daviess County Community Building and continue through Tuesday January 13, 2026, until the time of service.
