Indiana Conservation Officers rescued five duck hunters Saturday after their boat became frozen in the White River near Haysville in Dubois County.
Officers were called to the scene just before 11:40 a.m. east of the Haysville bridge, where temperatures were around 12 degrees and the river was nearly frozen from bank to bank.
Using an airboat, officers were able to reach the stranded hunters and bring them safely back to shore.
