Washington High School announced yesterday that Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Bo Burkhart has resigned as the head coach of the boys team.
Burkhart went 5 and 9 in his first year leading the program.
Varsity Assistant Brandt Schuckman has agreed to step in and lead the team the rest of the season.
The Hatchets are scheduled to travel to Tecumseh on Friday and return home on Saturday to face Gibson Southern.
