The town of Winslow continues to look for ways to rebuild after a 133-year-old structure on Main Street collapsed late last year. Insurance would not pay for the damage, and costs are over $60,000 to demolish the building. Along with that, despite many volunteers offering to step up and help, INDOT and the Fire Marshall’s Office have been involved, and the road will have to be closed once again when demolition of the structure takes place. The Winslow Town Board recently received the update, and at this point no decision has been made.
