Emergency crews responded Monday morning to a personal injury crash at the intersection of East National Highway and East Park Road in Washington. According to dispatch reports, one vehicle overturned at the scene, and callers reported individuals running from the vehicle. A third caller told 911 that four children inside of the upright vehicle appeared to be okay. Washington Police, Washington City Fire Department, and multiple DCH EMS units responded. At least one individual was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for treatment. Wreckers were called to remove a Buick and a Jeep Cherokee from the scene. Fire command was later terminated, and the scene was turned over to the power company. Authorities indicated further details are available in an arrest report.
