Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper has announced Christie Thomas, RN, as its latest DAISY Award recipient.
Thomas, who works in Women and Infant Services, was nominated by a patient who praised her compassion and support during labor and delivery.
The DAISY Award is an international program that honors nurses for exceptional clinical skill and compassionate care.
