Norma J. Kinnaman, 93, of Washington, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at her residence.

She was born at home on October 29, 1932, to the late Harden & Doris (Swayze) Long in Daviess County, Indiana. Norma spent her childhood and adolescence growing up in Daviess County.

On September 30, 1950, Norma married the love of her life, William “Bill” Kinnaman, and they spent nearly sixty-five years together before his passing on June 8, 2015. Together, they had four children, Allen, Mark, Jamie, and Paul.

Norma served a vital role as homemaker for her family, always ensuring the family was fed and well taken care of. She was a member of Bethel Church of Washington North Campus in Washington. In her free time, Norma greatly enjoyed quilting and tending to her garden. She grew the most beautiful flowers and was proud of them. Norma also enjoyed canning, as she was truly the epitome of a dedicated homemaker. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Allen Kinnaman, Mark (Sharon) Kinnaman, Jamie (Elvet) Bell, and Paul Kinnaman; her siblings, Ivan Long, Connie Cook, Marjorie Armstrong, Vernon (Priscilla) Long, and Hilda (Randy) Sparks; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harden & Doris, and her sister, Vonda Wise.

Visitation for Norma will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4:00-8:00pm ET at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10:00am at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Franklin officiating. Friends and family may visit from 9:30-10:00am prior to the service on Thursday. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Bethel Church of Washington – North Campus, in her honor.
