Indiana State Police Master Trooper Tim Weisenberger is retiring after 26 years of service. A native of French Lick and graduate of Springs Valley High School, Weisenberger joined the Indiana State Police in 1999 after earning an associate’s degree from Vincennes University. He graduated from the 58th Recruit Academy and began his career at the Versailles Post before transferring to the Jasper District in 2001. Throughout his career, Weisenberger served as a Field Training Officer, recruit school counselor, member of the Tactical Intervention Platoon, and driver in the high-performance Mustang unit. He logged more than 900,000 safe driving miles during his time with the department. Weisenberger, who lives in rural Orange County with his wife Kelly, is praised for his work ethic and mentorship of younger troopers.
