Our Community Foundation has awarded grants to the Washington High School Band Boosters and the Barr-Reeve Choral Program through the Madison C. Wagler Endowment for Music. The fund was established by Marlin and Laurel Wagler in memory of their son, Madison, to support local music education. This year marks the first time grants were presented to both schools, with presentations held on February 20, the tenth anniversary of Madison’s passing. The endowment provides ongoing support for music programs, including equipment, performances, and special initiatives. Foundation officials say the fund offers a lasting way for alumni and community members to honor Madison’s legacy.
