Emergency crews responded Sunday morning to a motorist in distress near Elnora after a vehicle became stranded in rising water. The call came in shortly after 10 a.m. at the intersection of 1550 North and 300 East. Dispatchers reported a vehicle partially in water with water beginning to enter the car. Multiple deputies, firefighters, and EMS crews responded, with rescuers using a boat to reach the stranded driver. The individual was safely removed from the vehicle and later transported from the scene. Authorities also contacted the county highway department to place road closed signs in the area as a precaution.
