The Washington Police Department, along with its partner agencies, will be conducting preparatory work this week ahead of a large-scale active shooter drill scheduled for May 27.
Officials say walkthrough training sessions will take place at Washington Junior High School on March 18 and 19 at 6:00 p.m., using the school’s main hallway for educational purposes.
Residents should expect an increased police presence around the school during those times.
