A local youth flag football program is returning to Washington this spring, offering boys and girls a chance to get active and learn the game. Organizer Mick White says this marks the program’s fourth season, with continued growth and strong participation from both kids and parents. The league is open to students from kindergarten through 8th grade and is co-ed, giving all participants the opportunity to develop skills like passing, catching, and teamwork. The cost to participate is $40, with limited scholarships available. The season will include two practice dates followed by games beginning March 29 and running through early May, all scheduled on Sunday afternoons. Registration is available online at playyouthfootball.com, and organizers say they are also looking for volunteer coaches to help support the program.
