Authorities say an electric bike rider was struck by an SUV that left the scene heading eastbound. The victim, identified as a woman in her 60s, suffered injuries to her chest and face and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Officers later located the suspected driver, and one person was taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing.
