A strong storm moved through the area late last night, bringing very large hail to parts of Daviess and Martin counties.
Around 10:00 p.m., reports indicated hail up to golf ball size in areas including Washington, Montgomery, and Loogootee. Radar showed hail measuring up to 1.8 inches in diameter.
Residents are being advised to check for possible damage to vehicles, roofs, and property following the storm.
