Toyota has announced a $1 billion investment across its Indiana and Kentucky operations, including a significant expansion in Gibson County. The company says $200 million will be used to boost production capacity for the Grand Highlander at its Princeton facility. As part of the expansion, the vehicle will also be assembled in the plant’s East facility alongside the Sienna minivan, while continuing production with the Lexus TX in the West Plant. The announcement comes as Toyota Indiana marks its 30th anniversary in Gibson County.
