Registration is now open for the second annual Daviess Community Hospital Foundation Pickleball Tournament, scheduled for June 26 through 28 at the Daviess County Pickleball Courts in Washington. The three-day, round-robin event will include singles play on Friday, men’s and women’s doubles on Saturday, a youth division Saturday evening, and mixed doubles on Sunday. Youth brackets will be offered for ages 8 to 18, and all participants are guaranteed at least four games. Participants ages 18 and older may register online, while youth participants must be registered by a parent or guardian by texting (812) 664-6515 with the player’s name and age. A signed waiver is required for all youth participants. Awards will be given for first through third place in each skill division. The tournament honors the legacy of longtime Daviess Community Hospital physician Dr. Suresh Lohano and supports local healthcare initiatives through the DCH Foundation. Registration is open now for players ages 8 and older, with sponsorship opportunities also available. Proceeds from the event will help fund programs that support patient care and community health in the region.
