
A longtime member of the Indiana State Police is retiring after more than four decades of service. Sergeant Todd Ringle is stepping down after 42 years with the department. He began his career in 1984 as a dispatcher at the Evansville Post before becoming a state trooper in 1985. Ringle spent years patrolling in southwest Indiana before being promoted in 2000 to Public Information Officer for the Evansville District, a role he held for over 25 years. ISP says his dedication and work in public outreach will be greatly missed. Ringle says he is looking forward to retirement and spending more time with his family.
