A Conservation Fair is planned for Saturday, June 27 as part of the Downtown Washington Farmers Market. The free, family-friendly event will run from 8 a.m. to noon at the Commons Event Pavilion and will feature booths focused on forestry, wildlife, soil health and water quality. Attendees can also see live fish, learn about invasive species control, and explore native plant landscaping. Organizers say the event will include hands-on activities, door prizes and vendors offering food and market goods. The fair is hosted by the Daviess-Martin CISMA group.
