
The Vincennes Police Department has made arrests following an investigation into a reported fundraising scam involving children. Police say the scam involved juveniles dressed in football gear, accompanied by adults, who allegedly solicited money from local businesses under the claim it was for football equipment. Following the investigation, 37-year-old Amanda Peyregne and 47-year-old Andrew Peyregne, both of Mobile, Alabama, were arrested. Each faces two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and two counts of theft. Both suspects are currently being held in the Knox County Jail. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing and encourage anyone who may have been a victim to contact Vincennes Police.
