Emergency crews responded to an early morning crash Thursday in rural Daviess County. According to dispatch reports, the incident occurred just after 4:20 a.m. on U.S. Highway 50 near Montgomery when a semi left the roadway and went into a ditch. Initial reports indicated the driver was injured. Crews arrived on scene and assisted the driver, who was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for treatment. Authorities say the crash involved only one vehicle and remains under investigation.
