Daviess County Museum’s First-Floor Exhibit Space Reopens with Weeklong Grand Opening Celebration

The Daviess County Museum has exciting news for history buffs and museum enthusiasts. After being closed for renovations, the museum’s new first-floor exhibit space will be open and ready for visitors on April 17th. To celebrate, the museum is hosting a weeklong grand opening party with free admission for all guests. Visitors can learn about the foundations of Daviess County’s rich history by exploring the new exhibit, which covers the world our forebears knew from the pioneer days until 1930. Additionally, guests can experience Daviess County’s contributions to the performing arts with the exhibit titled “That’s Entertainment! The museum will be open during its normal hours of 10 a.m.–4 p.m. daily, and admission is free for everyone.
