Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation following information from the Warrick County Prosecutor’s Office about alleged misappropriated funds at Warrick County Animal Control.
On December 13, a search warrant was executed at Danielle A. Barnes’ residence, revealing 25 vials of a legend drug used in feline vaccines.
Barnes, 55, was arrested without incident and is currently held on bond, facing charges of theft and possession of a legend drug.
