At a brief school board meeting held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Loogootee, several key staffing decisions were made. Josh Thompson was officially appointed as the new Athletic Director and Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach at Loogootee High School. Additionally, Jayme Thompson was hired as the middle and high school health and PE teacher for the upcoming school year. The board also approved paid administrative leave for Brian Whitney beginning April 28, with the end date still to be determined.
Several resignations were accepted during the meeting, including:
Jay Henninger, Computer Technician
Olivia Pride Holland, Middle School Language Arts Teacher
Asia Crim, Middle School Science Teacher
