Public Help Sought in Case of Pet Beagle Killed Near Hazleton

Authorities are seeking public assistance in finding whoever is responsible for killing a family’s pet beagle, Paige, near Hazleton. The dog went missing April 29 and was found deceased on May 6, with an x-ray confirming death by a shotgun blast to the head. The incident occurred about half a mile southeast of CR 350 N and CR 975 W, during wild turkey season. Despite a warrant for Google geolocation data, no devices were recorded in the area.
