The Montgomery Ruritan Club has donated $10,000 to support the Town of Montgomery’s downtown improvement project. Founded in 1960, the club has spent 65 years promoting community service and giving back to the Daviess County area. The donation moves the town closer to securing a $50,000 matching grant from the state to help fund a new downtown park. The Ruritan board thanked members past and present for making the contribution possible.
