Driver Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on SR 257

Emergency crews responded to a personal injury accident Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of County Road 400 South and State Road 257, just south of Washington. Authorities were dispatched shortly after 2:30 p.m. for reports of a red passenger car off the roadway. Witnesses said the vehicle had struck a guide wire and came to rest in a ditch. One male occupant was seen limping after exiting the vehicle. The injured driver was treated on-site, and the vehicle was later towed by Briggeman’s.
