Time is running out to submit nominations for the 3rd annual Making a Difference Award, presented by Walmart Washington, WAMW, and United Way of Daviess County. The deadline is July 31. Organizers are seeking nominations for a local community leader who has made a significant, lasting impact in Daviess County through collaboration, major projects, or grant work benefiting a large portion of the population. The winner will receive the official award, along with prizes, gift cards, event tickets, and merchandise. Nomination letters (one page or less) can be submitted by mail to PO Box 224, Washington, IN 47501, by email to director@unitedwayofdaviesscounty.org, or online at unitedwayofdaviesscounty.org. Only Daviess County residents are eligible. Self-nominations and nominations of family members are not accepted.
