Traffic Stop Leads to OWI Arrest in Martin County

A Washington woman was arrested Tuesday morning, August 19, after running a stop sign in Loogootee. Indiana State Police Master Trooper Jarrod Lents stopped a vehicle on U.S. 231 and identified the driver as 48-year-old Brandy Rominger. During the stop, Lents reported signs of impairment and discovered suspected marijuana and paraphernalia. She faces charges of possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and possession of paraphernalia.
