The annual Turkey Trot is adding a new evet this year with its first-ever BBQ Cook-Off, set for Saturday, Sept. 6, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
BBQ chefs are invited to compete for $150 prizes in four categories, a $1,000 grand prize, and the People’s Choice award.
Meat will be provided, and community members can sample entries and vote for their favorites.
