Amentum and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, have broken ground on a new Radiation Combined Environment Test Facility in Odon. The state-of-the-art site will test microelectronics under extreme conditions to strengthen U.S. Department of Defense readiness. The project, expected to create high-skill technical jobs, builds on more than 40 years of partnership between Amentum and NSWC Crane. Officials say the facility will enhance national security while boosting the Crane/WestGate innovation ecosystem.
