Daviess Community Hospital has completed a $3.7 million renovation and relocation of its laboratory services, now open near the hospital’s main lobby. The project expanded the lab by 30% to nearly 4,500 square feet, adding more blood-drawing stations, a dedicated restroom for testing, a larger waiting area, and increased testing space. Hospital officials say the improvements will reduce wait times, speed up processing, and provide a more comfortable experience for patients. The lab offers a full range of testing, including blood work, pathology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology, and continues to welcome walk-in patients without appointments. The new laboratory space will open for patient services Today, September 23.
