Emergency crews responded Tuesday evening to a multi-vehicle crash at County Road 100 North and 350 East that left a car on fire and power lines down. The accident, reported around 7:30 p.m., involved a white pickup and a gray Ford Fusion. Firefighters arrived to find the Ford on fire in the middle of the intersection. The blaze was quickly brought under control. Four people later reported pain, and at least one person was transported to Daviess Community Hospital by ambulance. Utility crews were called to repair downed power lines, and wreckers removed the damaged vehicles. The intersection was shut down for more than an hour while first responders cleared the scene.
