Residents of Dubois, Martin, Pike, and Daviess counties are invited to join the “No Trash in the River” contest throughout October 2025, sponsored by the Lower East Fork White River Watershed 319 Grant to help clean local waterways feeding the White River. Families and friends are encouraged to pick up litter in outdoor areas, Halloween costumes welcome, and email a photo of their cleanup to Watershed Coordinator Julie Loehr at Julia.loehr@in.nacdnet.net by November 3. Winners selected by the committee will receive prizes and be recognized by their local Soil and Water Conservation District.
