The Indiana Department of Transportation’s Southwest District will hold a winter weather training exercise on Monday, October 27, as crews prepare for the upcoming season. From 9 a.m. to noon, motorists will see INDOT’s fleet of yellow snowplow trucks running their assigned routes on highways and interstates with lights on. No salt or brine will be used during the exercise. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, give plows plenty of space, and prepare vehicles for winter travel.
