Construction is officially underway on Oak Street Village, a new residential development in Loogootee that will bring 50 new apartments and a childcare center to Martin County. Developer Joe White, President and CEO of JBH Ventures, announced that crews began work the week of October 27. The project will also include a community clubhouse, outdoor recreation areas, and other family-focused amenities. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2027, with pre-leasing beginning later in 2026.
