The Town of Winslow is dealing with the aftermath of a partial building collapse that occurred around 3 a.m. EST Thursday at the corner of Main Street (IN 61) and Center Street. No injuries were reported. Main Street (IN 61) between Washington and Lafayette streets was closed to all traffic as officials assessed the structure. Drivers are asked to use caution and follow detours through nearby side streets. Winslow Town Hall was closed following the collapse, but officials say no late fees will be charged to utility customers unable to pay bills during the closure. Update: Town Hall will reopen for regular hours on Friday, November 14.
