The Daviess County YMCA is preparing for its Member Appreciation Day this Friday, offering treats, drinks, giveaways, and raffle prizes as a thank-you to its members. The celebration will take place in the YMCA’s balcony room, and anyone can come by, grab some goodies, and enter the raffle. The YMCA also reminds the public that new memberships can be started online at dcymca.org or in person at the front desk. YMCA Program Director Lisa Potts highlighted several programs now open for registration, including youth martial arts, youth basketball, swim club, and an upcoming indoor triathlon in partnership with St. Vincent and Henderson County YMCAs. The Y also offers 24-hour access for an additional $10 a month, along with amenities such as a full fitness center, child watch services, and the indoor aquatic center.
