Daviess Community Hospital’s third annual Festival of Trees raised about $10,000 on Nov. 22 to support the hospital’s Perinatal Pathways Program. More than 80 guests attended the holiday fundraiser at the Washington National Guard Armory. The event featured a live auction of decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, a silent auction, catered dinner, desserts, dancing, and photos with Santa. Organizers say the money raised will help provide essentials such as diapers, safe-sleep equipment, transportation, and educational support for local mothers and newborns. People’s Choice awards went to Patsy Stanley Healy for Best Tree and Dewayne and Shelley Shake for Best Wreath. DCH leaders thanked sponsors, donors, and volunteers for helping strengthen Perinatal Pathways, which serves families from pregnancy through postpartum.
