Wilma J. Crowder

Wilma J. Crowder, 90, of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at her residence.
Born December 14, 1934, in Shoals, Indiana, she was the daughter of Eldred and Ruth (Allen) Lindley.
She married Clyde Crowder in the summer of 1952; and he survives.
Wilma managed numerous restaurants in Martin County, as well as owner and operator of The Arrow in Loogootee.
She enjoyed cooking, yard sales, and going to auctions.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 73 years, Clyde; her children, Ruth Ann (Bob) Toy, Alice (Daniel) Lewis, and Lori Plano; four grandchildren, Megan Truelove, Morgan (Leon) Perez, Andrea (Derek) Sipes, and Darin (Jennifer) Lewis; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson expected in the next few weeks; sister, Joyce Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randall; grandson, Matt Truelove; siblings, Carl V. (Betty) Lindley and Betty Rose (JD) Watson; son-in-law, Dale Allbright; and brother-in-law, Ed Lewis.
Cremation was chosen at Wilma’s request and burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.
