Car Slides Under Semi in US 50 Crash Near Washington

Emergency crews responded Wednesday night to a collision involving a car and a semi at U.S. 50 and County Road 300 West. The crash was reported just after 8:30 p.m., with dispatchers noting the car had gone under the semi and was blocking the roadway. Initial reports suggested possible injuries, prompting a response from multiple agencies, including Washington Township Volunteer Fire, medical crews, and deputies. By the time first responders arrived, everyone involved had exited the vehicle. Medics evaluated those on scene but reported no patient transport. Both westbound lanes of U.S. 50 were temporarily closed while crews worked the crash and Craney’s towing removed the heavily damaged car. Deputies later transported two individuals from the scene to an address in Washington. The incident was cleared just after 9 p.m.
