Police responded Thursday morning to a property damage accident at State Road 257 and Everett Lane after a vehicle struck a utility pole. The crash was reported shortly after 8 a.m., with airbags deploying and utility lines brought down when the pole snapped in half. The driver declined medical assistance. SparkLight and RTC utility lines were damaged, and crews were notified to respond. Traffic was shut down while emergency personnel worked the scene and a wrecker removed the vehicle. No injuries were reported. A state accident report will be completed.
