RTC Communications has completed a major fiber internet expansion around the West Boggs Lake area through funding from the state’s Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs Next Level Connect IV Grant program. The project expanded high-speed fiber service into parts of eastern Daviess County and western Martin County, bringing nearly 500 residents access to multi-gig, symmetrical broadband by the end of 2025. RTC invested more than $1.5 million of its own capital alongside nearly $1 million in state grant funding to complete the work. Company leaders say the new fiber network will support everyday connectivity needs for families while also helping encourage future housing, business growth, and development in the area. RTC has invested more than $50 million in fiber projects across Daviess, Martin, Lawrence, and Knox counties over the past several years. Residents in the West Boggs area can learn more about the new service by contacting RTC Communications.
