CBS News Radio has announced it will discontinue operations later this year, ending its long-standing affiliation with partner stations. In a notice sent to affiliates, CBS confirmed it will stop producing and distributing its news programming effective May 22, 2026. As a result, existing affiliation agreements will be terminated on that date. WAMW is working to secure an alternative source for national news coverage. Officials say listeners can expect updates as new arrangements are made.
