Two Killed in Spencer County Crash; Driver Arrested

A head-on crash in Spencer County Tuesday evening left two people dead and another injured. Indiana State Police say the crash happened around 5:50 p.m. on State Road 66 near Reo when a westbound pickup crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming car. The driver of the car, 54-year-old Larry Lindsey of Rockport, and a passenger, 64-year-old Barry Morris of Kentucky, were pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger was airlifted for treatment of injuries. Police identified the pickup driver as 29-year-old Lindsey Baxter of Evansville. After being treated and released from the hospital, Baxter was later arrested and is now facing multiple felony charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death. The crash remains under investigation.
