Our Community Foundation has awarded a $12,700 grant to the Freelandville Community Home. The funding comes from the Brooks Harting Freelandville Community Home Endowment Fund and will be used to improve resident comfort and support potential facility upgrades. Foundation officials say the fund was created to honor Brooks Harting’s connection to his hometown and ensure long-term support for the community home.
